"Suraksha – Power of 5" is an emergency distress app that helps to keep you safe, when you are facing Possible Dangers/Distress by clicking the Power Button thrice from your Android mobile phones thereby triggering the following features:

The detailed features of Suraksha - Power of 5 are as follows:

Power Feature 1: Distress Alert

Our App instantly sends an internet based ‘Distress Alert’ giving your exact GPS Location & nearest mobile tower details to 2 pre-identified nos. (must have installed “Suraksha – Power of 5”) in the form of push notification & continues to send every 2 mins for the next 30 mins.

Benefit: If the pre-identified contact is busy in a meeting & cant check the message box, an instant message service is flashed. It tracks your entire path for the next 30 mins, so that at the time of help reaches, your contacts will know the right place to reach.

Power Feature 2: Distress SMS

Simultaneously, our App sends ‘Distress SMS’ giving your exact GPS Location plus nearest mobile tower details to 5 pre-identified contact nos. in the form of SMS & continues to send these SMSes to all 5 pre-identified numbers every 3 mins for the next 30 mins.

Benefit: 5 of your pre-identified friends/relatives get intimated of your Distress SMS; so that anyone who is near to your location can reach out to you in a short period of time.

Power Feature 3: Distress Call

An Automated ‘Distress Call’ is made from your mobile to a Pre-identified Contact no. after 3 mins of clicking the Power button, so that the Receiver can judge your Degree of Danger level and take necessary Action.

Benefit: Once the Auto Distress call is made, the Receiver can hear the conversations going around and can make a judgment call on the level of danger.

Power Feature 4: Distress Call Recording & Storing

Once the Distress call is made, our App automatically records the entire conversation of the Distress Call and stores the recorded Audio in the local media of your mobile phone.

Benefit:The recorded audio file can be leveraged at a later stage in order to take necessary action.

Power Feature 5: Distress Email

Our App immediately sends a ‘Distress Email’ with your exact GPS Location plus nearest mobile tower details to 2 Distress Alerts Contact no's registered E-mail ids & continues to send these mails every 2 mins for the next 30 mins.

Benefit:Sends E-mail even if you have no balance in the sim card or even if the sim card is removed, but provided you are in a Wi-Fi zone.

Basic Requirements:"Suraksha – Power 5" requires a Device with a minimum amount of 50 MB of available storage, Android OS version 2.3 and above, Internet access, SMS/Call charge balance and GPS location services being activated & enabled for accurate location tracking.

How it works:In the event of a Distress Situation, Click the power button thrice. The phone vibrates to let the person know that "Suraksha - Power of 5" is activated.

Registration Process: You can install our app once you agree to our Terms & Conditions. For registering, you are required to submit personal details such as Name, Email-id, Mobile No., Address, City, State and Country.

After registration, you will receive a mail. Follow the procedures to complete the process.
